What is truSculpt?
truSculpt is a non-invasive Radio Frequency (RF) technological device which delivers deep heating to adipose tissue for fat reduction, body contouring, and skin tightening. No surgical intervention necessary.

How long is a typical treatment?
Treatment time will always depend on size and number of areas treated. Typically patients can get their truSculpt treatment done in their lunch hour or even less.
How many treatments will be needed to achieve results?
We’ll give you an estimate as to how many treatments will be necessary to garner desired results during your initial consultation. Number of treatments needed to enjoy optimum results will depend upon treatment area(s) as well as the scale of the patient’s aesthetic enhancement ambitions. Generally, 1-2 treatments are all that will be needed, spaced 4-8 weeks apart.
When will I start seeing visible results?
truSculpt energy, when applied by a Cutera authority like Dr. Cuellar, triggers the body’s immune system which in turn breaks down fat cells in targeted problem areas. The process can take anywhere from 4 weeks to 3 months to garner maximum results. You may begin to see results anytime during that period, or even later.
What happens during the treatment?
After your pre-treatment preparation, Dr. Cuellar applies our truSculpt handpiece to the skin, delivering targeted pulses of precisely calibrated RF energy. Each pulse averages 4 minutes in duration. The actual treatment typically lasts 15 minutes to an hour, depending on pulse application.
Is truSculpt Painful?
Though radiofrequency energy heat deep layers of the skin, most patients experience little discomfort and find body contouring and unwanted fat removal treatments easily tolerable. Temperature adjustment will always depend on patient comfort level. Most patients do not require pain medication, topical anesthetics, gels, or cooling agents.
